NH COLLECTION PALAZZO VERONA, Verona – A Smart Stay in the City

I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean, just what we were looking for, although they could get a bit stuffy and smell of cleaning products at times. Breakfast was a bit noisy during busy hours, but overall, it was a decent experience. The service was exceptional, with the staff being very friendly and helpful, even going the extra mile to assist us during unexpected situations. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old city center, ideal for exploring and sightseeing. The dining was good, although there could have been more generous coffee servings. Overall, a satisfying stay with a couple of small inconveniences.

The hotel surprised me with its lovely and spacious rooms, perfect for our family with kids. The chic design, wooden flooring, and terrace view made our stay unforgettable. The suite was beautifully furnished and even came with complimentary welcome drinks, fruit, and delicious macarons. The service was excellent, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even sending up a bottle of champagne as an apology gesture. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of Verona, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The dining experience was outstanding with a variety of high-quality food options. Overall, a truly remarkable stay with some minor hiccups like limited staff presence and missing expected touches.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms, though beautifully designed, were not as special as I expected, especially after paying to upgrade to a deluxe grande double room. They did have a nice look onto an internal courtyard, but the smell of smoke was off-putting. On the bright side, the hot items were freshly cooked to order.

The hotel offers spacious rooms that were effectively air-conditioned, although not thoroughly tested due to moderate temperatures during our stay. The room size was excellent with modern amenities, but the room's level did not entirely match the lobby's grandeur of our 'superior room'. The location was excellent, positioned just off of the charming pedestrian street, Via/Corso Porto Borsari, leading to the picturesque Piazza Erbe and being minutes away from the Arena. Dining was delightful, with reasonably priced dishes like pasta with ragu and mixed salads, although the dining area was somewhat cramped. Service was welcoming and helpful, lacking a bit of the distinctive Italian warmth and 'X factor'.
